We use the grading scale you already know from Back Market and bol.com, so a device means the same thing wherever you buy it from us. The condition tells you how the device looks, not how it works.

What every device goes through
- Intake in our own workshop in the Netherlands, with the specification recorded per serial number.
- Function test: ports, keyboard, trackpad, speakers, camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Display inspection for dead pixels, marks and uniformity.
- Battery capacity and cycle count measured against the minimum for its condition.
- Wipe and a clean installation of macOS.
- Cosmetic grading against the three conditions above, then cleaning and packing.
Choosing a condition
If the device is a gift or you simply want it to look untouched, choose Excellent. If you care more about what it does than how it looks, Good and Fair give you the same performance for less money. The warranty, the return period and the testing are identical.
